Megan Christie has been nominated for an Iris Truscott Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to students in recognition of their commitment to furthering their teaching careers through continuing professional development. Megan has just completed her first year of the BA Ballet Education programme and LRAD1 of the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance.

Winifred Cullis Memorial Award
Despoina Chouzouri is this year’s recipient of the Winifred Cullis Memorial Award given to a Level 5 BA Ballet Education student who has demonstrated exemplary attendance, positive support of peers, positive attitude and participation in both practical and theoretical practice, most progress made from Level 4 and the potential to continue such progress in Level 6 and consistent effort through
Phillip Nind Award
This year’s recipient of the Phillip Nind Award is Rania Leontiou (BA Ballet Education). The award is given annually to the most outstanding undergraduate dissertation.
University of Surrey Graduation
35 students from the BA Ballet Education and BA Dance Education programmes had their awards conferred at Guildford Cathedral on 14th July 2010. Congratulations to all our graduates. We wish you the best of luck for the future.
