Practical Teaching Supervisors for the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS)  

The Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) is an international programme of part time study designed to meet the needs of those who wish to become Registered Teachers of the Royal Academy of Dance.  

We are looking for Practical Teaching Supervisors responsible for tutoring and assessing trainee teachers based in their local areas via distance learning during practical teaching placements. The role involves supervising both trainee teachers and Mentors, maintaining records of work undertaken, providing written and oral feedback and conducting three assessment visits. 

Successful applicants will have a teaching/dance teaching/training qualification, with a high level of knowledge and understanding of current educational learning and teaching methodologies. Applicants should be fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills and good IT knowledge.
