Now is your chance to get ahead of the game!
Starts September 2010 - Funding Available
We are now recruiting for the Master of Teaching (Dance) which is due to start in September 2010. We have funding for a small number of successful applicants. In the move to make teaching a masters level profession, this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for!
If you have a PGCE with QTS and are currently fully employed as a teacher in a school or college, the M Teach (Dance) may be your next step. The programme is part-time (2-3 years) and is delivered by distance learning, with tutorial support by telephone, e-mail or face-to-face meetings. There will be a study seminar during the Easter break where you will attend RAD Headquarters in London for two days. After this, you will study independently in your own place of work.
The programme is modular (180 credits) and as a PGCE/QTS holder you will be able to transfer 60 credits across – leaving 120 credits to complete. In the first year, you will study a compulsory module on Dance, Education and Research before choosing your own preferred module option. In the second year, you will design and undertake an extended Research Project based on your teaching.
Application forms are available from Registry registry@rad.org.uk
