Master of Teaching (Dance) - application deadline 31st July 2010

Are you a dance teacher with a degree qualification and significant teaching experience?  We still have spaces available on our Master of Teaching (Dance) for September 2010.

If you have a PGCE with QTS and are currently fully employed as a teacher in a school or college, the Master of Teaching (Dance) may be your next step.

The programme is part-time (2-3 years) and is delivered by distance learning, with tutorial support by telephone, e-mail or face-to-face meetings.  There will be a study seminar at the beginning of the programme where you will attend RAD Headquarters in London for two days.  After this, you will study independently in your own place of work.

The programme is modular (180 credits) and as a PGCE/QTS holder you will be able to transfer 60 credits across – leaving 120 credits to complete.  In the first year, you will study a compulsory module on Dance, Education and Research before choosing your own preferred module option.  In the second year, you will design and undertake an extended Research Project based on your teaching.
