This exciting distance learning degree has something for everyone. Whether you want to teach in schools, open your own private dance studio or work in the community, the BA (Hons) Dance Education programme is designed with you in mind.
Unlike traditional ‘on-campus’ degrees, you can study part time or full time from your own home or place of work. The degree programme consists of three levels of study. Each level may be taken over one year of full-time or two years of part-time study and you can exit at any level after study. These options are available both nationally and internationally.

Students are required to attend a compulsory Intensive Study Seminar at Academy headquarters, London, at the end of Semester 1 in the first year of study.
All modules are supported by Module Study Guides which contain key source materials, tutor guided tasks and suggestions for further study. Students are allocated a tutor for each module, with whom they will have regular contact by telephone, email or fax. At each level students have a dedicated level co-ordinator to oversee their study and provide them with regular information updates.
The programme is delivered in English. Students who do not have English as a first language must pass an appropriate English Language Proficiency test.
