Student Support

We are pleased to welcome you to the Royal Academy of Dance and hope that you will benefit from the wide range of experiences that student life offers.

There may be occasions when it can help to talk to someone, perhaps to seek advice, help or support.

If you are uncertain about whom to approach, you may like to make initial contact with the person you think can best support your needs.  Academic staff and students in all these areas work closely together and will be able to refer you to the appropriate person.

There are a number of routes for obtaining support and expressing your point of view:

     •  through your Level Co-ordinator, Programme Manager or Head of
         Educational Studies
     •  through the Students' Union Representative
     •  through your Student Representative who attends programme
         meetings on your behalf
     •  through the Student Support Officer

Most difficulties are easier to address early on, so please do not hesitate to seek support.  The service you receive will be professional, confidential and equitable.

You can make appointments with the appropriate members of staff via e-mail or phone.
