1 Each programme has a limited number of places and therefore early application is recommended.
2 This is the final date for applying through the GTTR. Places are allocated on a first come basis for this programme and it is unlikely that there will be places available up to the closing date. You are advised to apply as early as possible and prior to the 1 December of the previous year to ensure your application is considered.
3 The deadline for submitting video/DVD applications is 1 June.
Auditions & Interviews
International Students applying for a London-based programme who are unable to attend an audition in London may supply video and other evidence in place of an audition.
English Language Requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English and who are applying for a programme where an English Language Proficiency test is required must achieve one of the following qualifications:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): band 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the subtests. The IELTS test must have been taken no earlier than two years before the date of the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies is issued.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 92 in the Internet-based test, normally with 22 or or higher in each subtest (23 in the speaking test) (or paper-based equivalent).
- Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (grade B)
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (grade C)
Some other school leaving or matriculation certificates contain a compulsory examination in English and these may be taken as equivalent.
If you have another recently achieved English language qualification, please check with Registry to establish acceptability.
Criminal Records Disclosure
All applicants for programmes of study requiring contact with young people and vulnerable adults are required to have a Criminal Record Disclosure.
UK residents are required to consent to a Criminal Record Disclosure which will be made on their behalf to the Criminal Records Bureau by the RAD.
International residents should check with their National Administrator to ensure they request the correct Police Record check from their country.
For more information, please contact the Registry.
