Awards Day Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do if…
I have not received my tickets yet?
Tickets will be posted in June. If these do not arrive with you by the time you travel to the UK for the Ceremony then please email Registry with the subject line “Missing Tickets” and alternative arrangements can be made.
I want to bring more than 2 guests?
An email will be sent in early June indicating the number of guest tickets allocated to you. Due to venue capacities there is no guarantee that any extra guest tickets will be allocated. We strongly advise that you do not make any arrangements (including travel) for any guests unless their ticket has been confirmed and paid for.
I cannot attend after all but have already paid for my guest tickets?
If you or one of your guests are unable to attend, please inform us as soon as possible. Payment for guest tickets will be refunded if we have received notification before the day.
I have changed my address?
You should have updated your address on the reply slip and returned this to us by 27th May. If you change your address subsequently then please contact us immediately to ensure you receive your tickets at the correct address.
I have outstanding debt to the Royal Academy of Dance?
You will not be eligible to attend your Awards Day if you have outstanding debts to the Academy. Please contact the Finance Department in order to clear any debts.
One of my guests has a disability?
Please complete the section on the reply slip or contact the Registry to discuss your particular needs and we will do our best to find a practical and suitable solution.
I need a visa to enter the UK?
Please refer to the UK Border Agency's website for information about immigration regulations and visa requirements: www.ukvisas.gov.uk
If you require confirmation from the RAD to support your visa application please contact Registry by email. Please include in the email any instructions you were given by the British Embassy, Consulate or High Commission in your country regarding this confirmation.
